We’re so excited to feature another one of our gorgeous Strut brides, Leah! Surrounded by her closest family and friends, she married her husband Chad at the scenic Colby Falls by Wedgewood in Gilbert, AZ. Their wedding was small and intimate, filled with laughter and heartfelt memories that perfectly reflected Leah’s vision of a simple yet stunning celebration! We’re so thrilled to feature this Strut traditional wedding dress on a mature bride, because Leah shows that you’re a BRIDE at any age!

Leah chose a soft lace vneck A-line wedding gown with delicate appliqué on the skirt and a romantic lace cathedral veil to complete her dream bridal look! Her aline wedding dress is the perfect balance between elegance and softness, and the airy silhouette flowed beautifully as she walked. She found her dream wedding dress at our Chandler, Arizona bridal store with the help of her stylist, Sema’j. “I think I tried on about a dozen dresses,” Leah shared. “Honestly, I wasn’t sure I was convinced it was my dress when we left.” After seeing how emotional her bridal party was at the appointment and getting it altered perfectly, she knew she made the right choice.

On her big day, Leah’s wedding vision came together beautifully! Her bridesmaids were dressed in gorgeous shades of purple, while the groomsmen looked sharp in grey suits with purple ties and boutonnieres that complemented her gown and bouquet perfectly. The overall vibe of her wedding was effortlessly elegant and reflected Leah and Chad’s style in the most authentic way. Every detail felt intentional!

Leah shared that her favorite part of the day was seeing Chad during their first look! “We don’t dress up a lot, so seeing one another in our wedding day looks for the first time is a moment I will never forget. I have never felt more beautiful, and I cried when I saw him.” The two also included a handfasting ceremony where their hands were bound together with a Celtic cord. It added a deeply personal and symbolic touch to their vows! Leah had her vows written down, while Chad had his memorized and had been practicing every day for months until he had them perfect.

If Leah had one piece of advice for future brides, it would be to not stress over the little things and be present in the moment! She suggests, “Don’t stress the small stuff, and don’t forget to eat! The day goes by fast, so be present, soak it all in, and trust that everything will fall into place.” Her wedding was the perfect example of staying true to your vision and letting love lead the way.

We’re so honored to have been a part of Leah’s journey and to have played a role in helping her feel confident on such an unforgettable day. Thank you, Sema’j for helping bring her vision to life! Congratulations again, Leah and Chad!
